Sinsley has affiliated with the firm as of counsel. Sinsley is a renowned attorney in the credit and collections industry providing clients with regulatory, compliance, and defense advice relating to Attorney General Investigations, CFPB examination preparations, portfolio sales, acquisitions, and regulatory affairs. She is also well recognized for her significant industry work in negotiating the provisions of legislation affecting the collections and debt purchasing industries.

Sinsley began representing clients in the collection and debt purchasing industries in 2001 when she served as a member of the executive management team at Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. She also served the industry in her capacity as General Counsel of DBA International from 2007 to 2014.

Sinsley received her B.A. in Behavioral Science and Law and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law. She was admitted to practice law before the Florida Supreme Court in 1990, and she is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all United States District Courts for Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Sinsley was certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Mediator in 2001. She is a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA) and is the co-founder and the co-chairperson of the In-house Counsel Division of NARCA. She is also a member of the Democratic Attorney’s General Association (DAGA).
