James M. Gonzalez is a member of the Consumer Financial Services Law Practice Group at Barron & Newburger, P.C.
A Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve, Mr. Gonzalez has substantial trial experience from his work in private practice and with the Judge Advocate General Corps. His litigation experience includes consumer financial services suits, mass torts, and complex commercial litigation, as well as product liability, worker’s compensation, and personal injury actions. His M.B.A. background has allowed him to expand his litigation experience into litigation management and strategies, as well as business counseling, estate preparation and commercial planning.
Mr. Gonzalez has served as a board member of the Duval County, Florida Hispanic Bar Association and as a Commissioner for the Jacksonville Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. His community activities include service as a volunteer and a director for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, North Florida Affiliate, and a volunteer counselor and coach for youth baseball teams.
