Ms. Barron was instrumental in creating the program. Stephen Sather will engage in a Point/Counter-Point: The Advantages and Disadvantages of Mediation as a Tool in the Dispute Resolution Arsenal.”
Sept. 24: Mark Aschermann will be speaking on a panel on Auto Finance at the State Bar of Texas Advanced Consumer and Commercial Law Seminar in Austin, TX. Manny Newburger will be speaking on Advocacy in Mediation.
Oct. 16: Arthur Sanders will participate in a defense bar panel at the NARCA Fall Collection Conference in Washington, D.C.
Nov. 11-13: Arthur Sanders will talk about contradictory court definitions of “debt” under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act at the Commercial Law League of America Fall Meeting in New York City. Barbara Barron and Stephen Sather will be presenting on the topic “Don’t Just Close That File,” a program for collection attorneys dealing with bankruptcy.
