Brad Elbein manages the Georgia office of Barron & Newburger, P.C. He works in the firm’s Consumer Financial Services Law Practice Group.
Mr. Elbein has over thirty years of prominent experience in consumer and finance law and public policy including issues relating to the automotive marketplace, advertising, and UDAAP cases. Prior to joining the firm he served as a Regional Director in two of the Federal Trade Commission’s regions, directing first the Southwest Region and then the Southeast Region. In his almost two decades at the FTC he investigated and litigated hundreds of federal consumer cases.
Mr. Elbein has also held leadership positions in the Resolution Trust Corporation and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Over the years he has been a frequent lecturer for state attorneys general offices on multiple topics including data security and privacy.
